Ashlee Anslow

Ashlee is a privately practicing midwife with 15 years of experience working both within and outside the hospital system. She has a particular focus on vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC) and vaginal breech birth (VBB). Ashlee’s personal experience of being supported by care providers during her own pregnancies, including the opportunity to have a vaginal breech birth of her second twin, has deeply influenced her professional practice.

Throughout her career, Ashlee has had the privilege of working with respected obstetricians such as Andrew Bisits, who have been strong advocates for breech competency. Ashlee is passionate about educating both midwives and obstetricians on physiological breech birth, striving to preserve this important service for women who wish to pursue it. She has worked in collaboration with Breech Without Borders, a global network aimed at building knowledge and expertise in vaginal breech birth.
